Step 1 · Inspect

Start with a $150 termite inspection

The lowest-commitment way to find out what you’re dealing with. A licensed Webenex technician inspects the property, tells you which termite you have, and recommends the treatment that fits. The species picks the treatment, not the price tag.

Three treatments. The species picks the one you need.

What it costs

Termite treatment cost in Clermont, FL

Our termite prices are published, not quoted after a sales visit. Here is the whole picture, from the inspection to the largest system.

Subterranean vs. drywood

Why the species decides the treatment

Florida has both. Subterranean termites live in the soil and come up into the structure, so the treatments for them work in the soil: bait stations around the building, or a liquid barrier. Drywood termites live inside the wood itself and never touch the soil, so a soil treatment can’t reach them. That’s why drywood termites get a wood treatment.

Can’t tell which you have? That’s exactly what the $150 inspection is for. Kevin Sukovich, our owner, holds the UF/IFAS Master of Termite Management credential.

Termites at work

Termite treatment for Clermont businesses

Restaurants, offices, warehouses, rentals and tenant buildouts get the same four products at the same prices: the $150 inspection, Sentricon, Bora-Care and the liquid barrier. What changes is how we work around your operation.

  • Discreet

Treatment that doesn’t alarm customers or tenants

Bait stations sit at ground level around the building and the liquid barrier goes into the soil, so the work stays out of sight and out of your customers’ conversations. We treat quietly and keep it that way.

  • Documentation

Paperwork your inspector and compliance team can use

Every visit is documented. Inspection findings and treatment records go on file for your compliance team, your landlord or your lender, so you stay inspection-ready.

  • Scheduling

After hours and around your operating hours

We schedule inspections and treatments around your hours, pour dates and closing dates, so a termite job doesn’t close your doors.

Buying or selling a home?

Selling soon? The buyer’s lender will want a WDO (wood-destroying organism) report before closing, and it’s better to know what’s in the walls before their inspector does. VA loans require a WDO report in heavy termite zones.

Termite questions from Clermont homeowners and businesses

Still have a question?

Call or text us. We’ll call or text you back within 15 minutes during business hours.

How much does termite treatment cost in Clermont?

Between $350 and $3,000, depending on the treatment and the size of the structure. Bora-Care runs $350 to $750 and Sentricon $750 to $3,000, both by linear feet. The liquid Termidor HE barrier is $1,200 flat. The termite inspection is $150. Every price is published on this page and in our online store.

Sentricon vs. liquid barrier: which is better?

They work differently. Sentricon eliminates the colony: termites carry bait from stations around the structure back to the nest, and the stations are serviced at least annually. The liquid barrier is Termidor HE applied to the soil, which kills active subterranean termites and comes with a retreat bond renewable up to 10 years. We sell both, so the honest answer is that it depends on the property and how you want protection to work over time. Both are for subterranean termites only.

Do I have subterranean or drywood termites?

That’s the question that decides the treatment, and it’s what the $150 inspection answers. Subterranean termites live in the soil and build mud tubes up into the structure. Drywood termites live inside the wood itself with no soil contact. Subterranean termites are treated with Sentricon or the liquid barrier. Drywood termites are treated with Bora-Care.

Does Bora-Care work on drywood termites?

Yes. Drywood termites are on the Bora-Care label, alongside subterranean and Formosan termites, carpenter ants, wood-destroying beetles and decay fungi. It’s applied directly to the wood of the structure, which is why it’s the treatment for drywood termites.

How much is a termite inspection?

$150 flat, for homes and businesses. A licensed technician inspects the structure for termite activity and damage and identifies the species. It doesn’t include a repair or retreat bond; ask us if you’d like one.

Are termites covered by homeowners insurance?

Typically not. Termites cause more than $5 billion in property damage in the US every year, and homeowners insurance usually doesn’t cover it. That’s why the National Pest Management Association advises a professional termite inspection every year.

How long does a termite treatment last?

Sentricon is ongoing: the stations stay in place and are serviced at least annually. The liquid Termidor HE barrier comes with a retreat bond that can be renewed for up to 10 years. Either way, an annual inspection is how you confirm the protection is holding.

Can I treat termites myself?

No. The National Pest Management Association says termite treatment is not a do-it-yourself job, and Termidor HE, the product used in our liquid treatment, is labeled for licensed applicators only. Start with the $150 inspection and let a licensed technician recommend the treatment.

What are the signs of termites?

Mud tubes on a foundation, slab edge or wall; swarmers or piles of shed wings indoors; and wood that is blistered, sagging or sounds hollow when tapped. If you’re seeing any of these, book the $150 inspection. If you’re not sure what you’re seeing, send us the form on this page and we’ll tell you what’s next.

Do you treat commercial properties?

Yes. All four termite products on this page are sold to businesses at the same prices: the $150 inspection, Sentricon, Bora-Care and the liquid barrier. We treat discreetly so customers and tenants aren’t alarmed, document every visit for your compliance team and inspectors, and schedule after hours or around your operating hours, pour dates and closing dates. If you want a full service plan for your building rather than termite work alone, see our commercial pest control plans.
